Each of my tours is tailor-made, so prices vary. If you are interested in my services and destinations, please feel free to contact me. I will be happy to send you a specific offer customized to your wishes. I would also be happy to put together a complete travel package for you, including accommodation, transportation and possible activities. I can also make reservations at recommended restaurants for you. Some guests are only interested in a day trip, which is also possible.
My standard fee as a guide is €120 per hour. However, the vast majority of my guests book me for entire-day or multi-day tours. Transport in a comfortable car or van, plus all transfer-related costs such as gas, tolls, parking, snacks and drinks in the car, are already included in that rate. Generally, almost all of my tours are all-inclusive, which means that all entrance fees for museums, castles and similar attractions, as well as wine tastings and other activities, are included in the travel price. Depending on the type of tour, I would add the corresponding costs to my standard fee and quote you a total price. Tours in Switzerland, for example, with expensive gondola rides and generally more cost-intensive activities, would be slightly more expensive than a scenic driving and hiking tour through the Black Forest. The only costs to be covered by the guests are meals and drinks in restaurants and cafés. For extraordinary activities such as scenic train rides, summer toboggan runs or river cruises, I always check with you in advance whether you would like these to be incorporated, in order to avoid misunderstandings on site. In most cases, my guests know exactly what is included before they travel and do not need to worry about any unexpected extra charges.
For one-day or two-day trips, payment is usually made after the tour. I accept bank transfers, various payment service providers and cash payments. In certain cases, especially for complete travel packages or longer tours, a deposit of 20% of the travel price is required. However, if a cancellation occurs for understandable reasons and I have not incurred any further costs, the customer will receive a full refund of the deposit.
